NET’s Not TV

It’s obvious but it seems that capitalists haven’t yet understood that NET’s Not TV and they go on to bloat the net with unwanted advertisings which cause damages to the internet’s users.

Everything on the net is data and often users have connections limited in data volume so why I should waste data to download unwanted and unneeded things?

If I need something I look directly for it using a search engine I don’t need expensive, paid by me cause my connection is limited in data volume, “suggestions”.

On this blog is there advertising?

Sure, but it’s not put on the site by me and I have no return by these ads, they are here cause I have a free plan and supplier puts the ads trying to make revenues.

Make revenues on the net with advertising…

a turkeys tale to say the plain truth.

I owned in the past another site and I tried Amazon’s affiliate program, in more then one year…

revenues ZERO.

Net is not a free of charge, or, at least, lesser expensive than owning a physical one, mall but for capitalists, which think that internet’s users are cows to milk, it’s hard to understand and they go on to bloat the net with ads.

I’m smart enough to find a solution by myself but I’m not a capitalist so I think to other , less smarter, people maybe cause I rely on Free (not Open, Open it’s another unuseful thing, IMHO) Software since 2002.

I received a lot from Free Software so I try to give back to the community a little bit of what I received.

Thank to a crazy friend, not all give place to host file to someone considered now more dangerous for #USA than #RMS, now I can share my work with you.

I rely on really old hardware so I came across the trouble that it makes no sense to use browsers which have a resources consumption greater then wide OS itself but they are the only which have plugin to avoid ads to be displayed.

To say the plain truth also Midori developer says it has an ads blocking function but, maybe I’m dummy, it’s not so easy to figure how to make it working (interested “bug”?).

So starting from the great job done by Anticapitalista developer and mantainer of AntiX, the best GNU/Linux distro I’ve ever seen and used – the lighter, easier and most suitable for oldest hardware owned by who has never seen GNU/Linux before – I make the ads-blocking function tailored by him for AntiX available for every Debian based GNU/Linux OS

You can find the Debian architecture independent package here.

Before installing check md5 sha1 sha256 hash here. (My #NSA friends are cutups 😀 )

Hoping to be helpful 😀

If yes you can leave a comment to this post and, maybe, think to make a donation.

Yes! You too my #NSA friends in change of work I accept donation but don’t expect that I will shut my mouth, donations intended to shut my mouth have no success 😀
